We are excited to announce that experienced finance professional Meghan McGee has joined the Data Gumbo as Financial Controller to manage financial reporting, planning and analysis.

McGee began at Data Gumbo as a Business Analyst in April of 2019. Her move to Financial Controller signifies the company’s rapid growth and expansion. Prior to Data Gumbo, Meghan worked at Murphy Oil, an upstream oil & gas operator, where she held various roles of increasing responsibility throughout her tenure.
Most recently, Meghan oversaw the corporate finance group as Senior Manager of FP&A. Her responsibilities included the global budgeting process, global reporting and performance management. She was also responsible for providing support to the executive team on quarterly board meetings, earnings calls and acquisitions.
Prior to this, McGee was the Manager, US Onshore FP&A responsible for a $1 billion capital budget and support for onshore assets including financial close, reporting and performance management for Murphy’s onshore operations. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Edward’s University and is an active member of the Women’s Energy Network (WEN).
With her 12 years of upstream experience in financial controls, reporting and planning for major international oil & gas operators, we are thrilled to have her on the team.
